T: What’s the time?
Ask Ss to answer in Chinese first. Then T says in English: It’s half past 3. (Write the sentence on Bb.Explain to Ss the meaning of half:)
再出示几个半点的钟面
Have Ss repeat the statement. Do many more examples with “half past”.
Ask and answer. T--S

(1) Watch and think
Q1: What’s the time?
(2) Listen and repeat.
(3) Read by themselves.
3. SB Unit 2 Activity 2
Look and say.
(1)Listen and point
T says the action, Ss point to the relevant pictures.
(2) Point and say
Ss work in pairs
One S point to the picture and the other one says ten action.
(3) Show the pictures, ask Ss to look and say.
T says Picture 1, then ask Ss to say other pictures.
(4)Now we are going to learn the next three letters.
What are they?
Ss: They're JKL.
CHANT:
Show the flashcards of jug and jigsaw.
Have the Ss find out the same letter.
Read the letter/words together.

Game: Guess
(1)请一个学生到前面来,在钟面上拨好一个时刻,然后说:
I get up at….
请其他学生来猜一猜:You get up at ….
(2)还是请一个学生到台前来,在钟面上拨好一个时刻,然后说:
I … at 12 o’clock.
请其他学生来猜一猜,这个时刻他会做什么事情。
