Module3 Unit 1 He shouted, “Wolf, wolf! ”
一、教学内容
本节课将复习一般过去时的用法,所涉及的主要句子有:
There was a boy, he looked after sheep.
The boy ran to the village, “wolf, wolf!” he shouted.
They said, “Don’t tell lies!”
本模块拟用三课时完成,本节课是第一课时。授课对象是小学四年级学生(一年级起始学英语);学生比较熟悉教师的课堂用语和体态语。
二、           教学目标
1、知识目标:
(1)能听、说、读并正确使用以下词汇:shout, look after, once upon a time, the next day, one day, wolf, sheep, field, lie。
(2)能理解并掌握本课重点句型“There was a boy, he looked after sheep.”和“He was bored.”能理解《狼来了》的故事及完成相关的问题;
2、技能目标:
能运用一般过去时讲述一件事。
3、情感目标
通过学习本课内容,培养学生诚实的品格。
三、教学准备
卡片、教具、课件、故事录音磁带。
四、    教学过程
Step 1Warming up:
1.师生互致问候,然后学生在教师的带领下,齐唱歌曲Old McDonald had a farm
2.      Lead in
3.       T: Old McDonald Had a ….?
Ss: Farm.
(教师把单词farm的卡片粘贴在黑板上。.)
T: And on that farm he had a …?
Ss: pig,
T: Yes, he looked after a pig….
(教师依次词组look after和单词pig的卡片粘贴在黑板上。)
3.教师继续引导学生进行如下对话:
T: (出示单词sheep的卡片)Did he look after sheep?
Ss: No, he didn’t.
(教师引出新单词sheep,并引领学生操练这个单词的发音。)
T: ( 出示单词grass的卡片) Does the sheep eat grass?
Ss: Yes.
T: Does the sheep eat grass on the field?
Ss: Yes.
(教师引出新单词field,并引领学生操练这个单词的发音。)
T: Clever boys and girls. Yes, the sheep eat grass on the field. And which animal eats the sheep?
Ss: Wolf.
(教师引导学生说出单词wolf,并引领学生操练这个单词的发音。)
T: Wonderful! And look at “wolf” and “sheep”. Which story would you think?
S1: “狼来了”的故事。
T: Yes, The story, “The wolf is coming.” (展示与本故事有关的挂图) Now, let’s do an exercise. Look at the following exercises. Can you choose the right answer?
 教师给学生呈现以下两个小练习:
(1) The story was from Aesop Fables?
A.Yes    B.No
(2) The story tells us:
A.“Don’t eat too much!”  B.“Don’t tell lies!”
Step 2Presentation
(1)教师让学生听录音,要求学生听出表示时间的词组。
T: Now boys and girls, do you like to listen to the story.
Ss: Yes.
T: All right, let’s listen to the story, and find the “time” in the story.
(教师用PPT展示以下几个表示时间的词组:once upon a time, the next day, one day,并领读。)
T: Now listen to the story, when you hear about the “time”. Please raise your hands. OK?
Ss: OK!
2 教师让学生看故事图片,(图片按顺序排到左边一排,将每幅图相对应的句子打乱顺序,剪下,装在信封里) 读句子,并依据故事发生的时间顺序,完成将故事图片与句子配对的练习.答案如下:
T: Now work in pairs, please follow the “time”, look at the pictures, and match the sentences with the pictures.
Once upon a time, there was a boy, he looked after sheep. He was bored.
 The boy ran to the village, he shouted, “wolf, wolf!”
 Everyone ran to the field. There was no wolf. The boy laughed.
The next day, the boy ran to the village again. “Wolf, wolf,” he shouted.
The people ran to the field. There was no wolf. The people were angry.
 But then one day, a wolf came to the field.
 The boy ran to the village. But the people didn’t run to the field. They said, “Don’t tell lies.”
 The wolf ate all the sheep.
(3) 第三次让学生听故事的录音,并要求其核对图文搭配练习的答案;也可以要求学生在小组内校对讨论正确答案。最后教师呈现正确答案。
T: Now listen to the story again, check out your order.
Step 3 Practice
(1)教师让学生再次默读故事, 并完成课堂活动用书中判断正误的练习。
T: Now take your Activity Book. Turn to page 10. Read the story again, and Circle T or F.
(学生开始读故事,并做练习。)
T: Have you finished?
Ss: Yes!
T: Now let’s check out. The boy looked after cows. True or False?
S1: False.
T: The boy looked after sheep. He was bored. True or False?
S2: True.
(2)教师让学生朗读故事,并找出故事中所有的动词过去式。
T: Read the story loudly. 请边读故事边划出以-ed结尾的动词。
(学生开始朗读,并划出表示动词过去式的单词。)
T: Ok, Now who would like to tell us your answers? Others please check the answers together.
S1: Was, ran, and shouted.
T: Any other words? (To S2) Did you circle more?
S2: Bored.
T: 可是bored是一个形容词,不是动词。现在同学们来观察我们找出来的这些动词过去式,能从中发现点什么
was   looked after
ran    shouted
came  laughed
said  
ate
 
S1: 左边的动词过去式是动词过去式的不规则变化。而右边的动词过去式是动词过去式的规则变化。
T:Good! 动词的过去式有两种:一种是动词过去式的规则变化,即动词后面直接加-ed。另一种是动词过去式的不规则变化。
(2)    教师引导学生复述故事。
 教师先让学生借助肢体语言复述故事。
T:Now let’s try to read the story with our body language.
  然后引导学生复述故事的内容。
T: Great, now let’s try to retell the story.
(设计思路:按时间顺序将故事分成三部分, 第一部分, 教师提供关于三幅图的动词过去式,引导学生复述内容; 由于第二部分的大意与第一部分相似, 可以适当放手让学生复述. 最后一部分,基于学生已熟悉本故事的结尾,而且依据儿童对故事的结局的强烈感受,可以让学生自主复述故事。)
  (4)教师引导学生归纳本故事的寓意:Don’t tell lies.
Step 4 Application
T: Now, let’s make another story about “Don’t tell lies!” Look at these four pictures. This is Ben. And he is John. And what happened to them? Look at the pictures, what can you see in the picture? Or any words will think about?
Ss: Lake, angry, hear,  …..
T:Now discuss in your group. Try to make a story.
 
              
参考故事:One day, Ben didn’t go to school. He went to a park. There was a small lake in the park. Ben was bored. He jumped into the lake and shouted, “Help, help!” A man heard this. He ran to Ben and jumped into the lake, too. But Ben laughed. The man was all wet. And he was very angry. He said, “Don’t tell lies. It’s not funny1” Ben said, “Sorry, I won’t do this again.”
Step 5 Homework
(1) Tell the story for your family members.
