Warmer: 1. Choose two or three popular songs from 1,2 or 3 to attract the children’s attention I the next stage of their English learning. You can also ask them to vote for their choice.
Activity1. Listen and point.
Ask the children to look at the page. Elicit as much information about the story as you can in Chinese by asking questions. For example, point to each frame and ask about the weather. In frame 4, ask What’s this? To elicit A hat. Then ask Where’s the hat? In frame 5, ask them in Chinese why the hat is blowing away. Elicit that it is windy. You can teach It’s windy in English at this point and write it on the board.

2. Play the cassette or read the dialogue. The children listen and follow in their books.
Play the cassette again, pausing after each utterance for the children to point at the corresponding picture. Perform a simple gesture to indicate the meaning, for example, miming holding on to a hat that is blown away, watering a plant, being hot, wet from the rain, etc.
3. Play the cassette again, this time pause for the class to repeat each utterance. Encourage the class to perform actions(as above)for what they hear.
4. Repeat this activity, asking individual students to repeat the utterances. Alternatively, divide the class into groups.
Activity 2. Act it out.
1. Divide the class into sections. Give each section a role in the conversation, either Sam, Amy or Daming.
2. The whole class acts the dialogue, with each group saying the corresponding text.
The children now act out the dialogue in small groups of 3.Remind the to do the corresponding gesture.

2. In the street. Listen to the tape. Answer 2 questions: what’s the weather? Is it raining?
3. Open your book. Listen to the dialogue and point, find “hot, sunny, windy, raining.”
4. Play the cassette again. Pause after each dialogue and perform an action to aid comprehension. Study words: come on, here.
5. Read the whole dialogue. Read after the tape. I will pause the tape after each sentence.
四、 Practice:
1.read the dialog in roles.
1) Teacher-students divide the class into 2 groups. Taking in a role in the story: Amy, Daming, Sam.
2) In three-student group. The children now act out the dialog. Then, come to the front of the class to act out the dialog to their classmates.

3.Open your book. Listen and repeat. Divide the class into 2 groups. Read the dialog . Boys and girls read it in roles.

1.Look at part 2 ask and answer. What can you see in picture? Individual students describe the 6 picture. The pictures mark the number. T call out the activities, Ss show them finger as quickly as they can.
Trades the role. Look at the pictures. Work with your partner. T make the dialog with one Ss. The Ss make the dialog with another Ss.

a) Do you like English chant? Let’s listen to a chant. What did you listen to about weather words? Do you like it? Ok, open your book. Can you read it? Fist, read it by yourself. Draw line under the difficult sentence. Read after Tt “We don’t know what to do. Is this weather true? Tt does some actions for making Ss understand the sentences. Play the tape, Ss repeat the chant(3). Ss can say the chant as they listen. Let Ss do some mimes as they say the chant. It’s hot: students fan themselves. It’s cold: Ss pretend to shiver. And it’s raining, too: Ss hold their fingers. It’s sunny: Ss mime putting on sunglasses. And it’s windy: Ss move their body backwards and forwards. Is this weather ture: Ss shrug their shoulders and hold up their hands. Play the tape and you can say the chant and do the mimes.
