1.    Tt shows courseware. Tt: “That’s Cici. What is she doing?” Do you know? Guide Ss to say“She’s tidying her room.” Read the word: “tidy, room.” one by one. Tt: “what is she doing?” Teach “do her homework” read it loudly or lowly. Tt writes two sentences on the blackboard. Guide Ss to say: “She isn’t tidying her room. Is he doing her homework? Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.
2.    Open your book. Read after the tape and point:“Listen and say.”
3.    Tt shows courseware. Guessing game. Tt will show many pictures. Let Ss guess and make negative statement. Find several Ss. Then, check it.
4.    Have Ss work with your partner: “Practice3”
 
四、        Practice:
1. Game: play and say.
      The first, describe the pictures. Divide the class into 6 groups. Tt says picture1. The Ss can say it as quickly as him can. Then, Tt has 6 little papers. Tt show the one paper unconsciously the Ss put up his hand and say. 1,3,5=He/She isn’t…ing. 2,4,6=He/She is …ing.
2. Activity book P10.
 
五、        Consolidation:
Let the Ss do the actions, the individual Ss describe use 3 sentences, two negative statements and one affirmative statement. For example, Wenjing isn’t watching TV. She isn’t listening to music. She’s reading a book.

a)      Reviews words we learned the last class. (do, room, tidy, homework and v.-ing)
b)      Check homework. P11 practice with your partner.
   
三、Presentation and drills:
a)      Tt: “What is he doing?” Ss: “He is tidying his room.” Tt: “who can ask me?” Tt faces to blackboard and does the action. Ss: “what are you doing?” Tt: “It’s secret.” Tt teaches the word. Read it one by one.
Tt takes a birthday card. Tt: “what’s this?” Teach the word “card”. Read it.
b)      Tt: “Today is Ms Smart’s birthday. Sam is preparing for a surprise. Let’s have look. What’s the  surprise? Open your book.”
The first, listen point and find “-ing”.
The second, answer some questions, repeat the tape.
Questions:
At first, what’s Ms Smart said?
Is Sam doing his homework?
In the end of the dialog, what’s the surprise?
c)      Read the whole dialogue. Read after the tape. I will pause the tape after each sentence.
d)      1.read the dialog in roles.
  Teacher-students divide the class into 2 groups. Taking in a role in the story: Amy, Daming, Sam.
四、Practice:
a)      Activity book P10. First listen and draw. Then, check it.
b)      Activity book P11. First, look. Then, write. Pair work.
 
五、  Consolidation:
In three-student group. The children act out the dialog. Then, come to the front of the class to act out the dialog to their classmates.
