II. Presentation
1.The words and phrases:
Radio: Tt take out a bag. The radio is in the bag. Tt ask what’s this? Guess. Let Ss touch it. Take and look it. Read the word. Tt mimes listen to music. Ss say it. Tt mimes listen to the radio. Tt guide Ss to say it. Read the phrase. listen to the radio.
Play with his train: look at picture. Describe the picture. Play with his toy car. Another picture. Describe it. Play with his train. Read the phrase. Play,play ,play, Play with his train.
2.Listen to the tape. Answer my questions: who are they? What are you doing? Open your book, read after the tape. Point out to the students the difference between ‘That’s your mother’and ‘That’s Tom,’Ss work with your partner.
III. Practise
1.Look at 6 pictures of practice. They are on the blackboard. Choose 4 students to come to the front. For example: S1 do a action, S2 say “read”, S3 say “read a book”, S4 say “She’s reading a book.”
Now, look at picture in your book again. Take turns to ask and answer questions with your partner. That’s Amy. Yes. She’s singing.
