Ⅰ. Warm up

1.Greetings:

2.Let the students make free talk.

Sing the song with the students.

Ask : what are you doing ?

     I’m reading a book .

New words : listen , read , watch , sing , walk , eat ,play

II. Presentation

1.The words and phrases:

Radio: Tt take out a bag. The radio is in the bag. Tt ask what’s this? Guess. Let Ss touch it. Take and look it. Read the word. Tt mimes listen to music. Ss say it. Tt mimes listen to the radio. Tt guide Ss to say it. Read the phrase.  listen to the radio.

Play with his train: look at picture. Describe the picture. Play with his toy car. Another picture. Describe it. Play with his train. Read the phrase. Play,play ,play, Play with his train.

2.Listen to the tape. Answer my questions: who are they? What are you doing? Open your book, read after the tape. Point out to the students the difference between ‘That’s your mother’and ‘That’s Tom,’Ss work with your partner.

III. Practise

1．Look at 6 pictures of practice. They are on the blackboard. Choose 4 students to come to the front.  For example: S1 do a action, S2 say “read”, S3 say “read a book”, S4 say “She’s reading a book.”

Now, look at picture in your book again. Take turns to ask and answer questions with your partner. That’s Amy. Yes. She’s singing.

2.Pay a guess game. Listen and do.( sing, play with his train, read a book, listen to the radio……)

II. Review:

1.Tt say v. Ss say v-ing. For example, Tt: read. Ss: reading. Ss stand up and say as quickly as them can.

2.Pair work. Make a dialog. That’s Amy. Yes. She’s sing.

III. Presentation

1.Tt take photo. what’s this? Do you know? Yes, photo. Read the word one by one. Listen to the tape, picture1-4. Answer my question: What’s your mother\father\little brother doing? Da ming says: “He’s reading a newspaper. Guide Ss newspaper meaning. Read the word one by one. Pair work: practice this part. Daming has a new camera. Listen to the tape. What did Daming say? Read the word one by one.  He wants to take a picture for Sam. Daming: “Smile, please.” Read the word one by one and together.

2.Open your book. Listen to the dialogue again. Listen, point and find “-ing”

3.Play the cassette again. Read the whole dialogue. Read after the tape. I will pause the tape after each sentence.

Ⅳ.Practice:

1.read the dialog in roles.

1)      Tt-Ss  Taking in a role in the story:, Daming, Sam.

2)      Work with your partner.

Ⅴ.Extension:

Let the Ss take out their own pictures. Let the Ss make dialogs. That’s…. She’s\He’s….

 

Ⅵ.Sum-up:

Ask and answer about the short dialog on page 6

II. Practise

1. Play the games,  Then try to remember the group words.

Learn the word and make some examples:

e.g. what’s Becky doing ?

2. Look and learn, read the passage on page 8.

3.Learn to say freely just like this part.

4. Talk to the students about the pictures and introduce with different stuuctures. attention to the picture and read the text or play the cassette.

In groups, the students take turns to complete, Invite different pairs to report back to the rest of the class

5.Point to the first picture and read the text or play the cassette.

6.Do activity books.

III.Consolidation:

Let the Ss is writing a letter. How do you introduce? Use the sentences, for example, I’ m Cindy. I’m drawing a picture.
