1. 学生能够按照正确的语音语调独立朗读课文,或分组表演和复述课文。

Ⅰ. Warm up
1.      Sing a song of Book 4 (shake shake  shake. Marching.)
2.      Review:
a.Read M8 texts.
b.Play a game: Simon says. “Go straight on. Turn left/right.……”
II. Presentation
1. Q: Where is the supermarket?
Q: Where is the zoo?
 Q: Why does Daming’s cousin know the city well?
Ss answer these questions.(P2, P3 blackboard designing) Tt teaches words: next to and in front of. Tt: “ Where is Li Ping?” Ss: “He’s next to Xiaolan. Or He’s in front of Wang lei.” Tt teach words: cousin, supermarket, well and of course. Read after the Tt. Read it one by one.
2.Read together these words. Bomb.(A game.)
3.Teach and read the sentences. Read together \Girls\boys together. Read it one by one.
4.Open your book, turn to page P38. Listen to the tape. The first listen and point. Then, listen again, point and repeat. Listen again, repeat and find “next to, in front of”. Check it. Let’s read it.(Guide Ss to read the whole sentences.)
III. Practise

2. Look, ask and answer practise 3 of P39.
3. Look, say and try to write a letter.

I. Warm-up
1.Sing a song.

II. Review
1.Review the words we have learned the last class.
 One Ss of each group stands up. When Tt say the word, they can put up their hands as quickly as them can. The fastest Ss answer. The Ss’ answer is right. The group will get one point.
2.Read the text together.
3.Presentation and drills:

4.Practice with your partner. Say the sentences to your partner.
5.Practice. Tt: “Ask and answer. Look at this part. What can you see? (school, zoo, station, park, cinema, hospital) Who can help me? Find a Ss.” A: Excuse me, where is the park?  B: Turn right. It’s next to  the cinema.
Pair work.
6.Let’s play a game.
Find people. Tt plays the tape. Listen to music. Music stop, Ss should stop. One Ss: “where is Xiaohui?” Another Ss answer. The first one is right. Their group gets on point..
 
7.Ss come to the front and say.

1. Do the exercises on P39 of Activity Book, Listen and draw.

Ⅳ. Consolidation:
Pair work.(Ss draw a picture.) Talk about the route. For example: “Where’s the boy? He’s in front of the  station.”

.Tt shows the picture. Ss and Tt make a dialog:
 “Excuse me, Where’s the hospital, please? It’s……”
 Let’s have a match. One Ss from each group comes to the front.
They put up your hand as Tt says: “Excuse me, Where’s the hospital, please?” The first Ss answers. If he is right, their group gets one point.
3. Listen and repeat.
4. Read the text. ( Group work ).
5. Retell the text.
