III. Presentation

T: Wow. How good she is. Can you tidy the room?  Do you like doing your homework?

Ss: mime the action and saying:

I’m tidying the room.  I’m doing homework.

1.T: Today we’ll learn a story. Look at the pictures about the story. What can you find from them and what do you want to know?

Ss: Discuss first and then share their ideas

2.T: Well done. You have got lots of questions. And I have got questions, too?

 One student is doing an action, let another student guess and ask, then the others answer.

(T must prepare some things, such as: ping-pong paddles, a football, a basketball…)

c)        Tt takes the card. Teach the word: “ today”. Ss read it one by one. Tt takes flowers. Teach the word: “ flower”. Read it one by one. Flower, flower are different. Tt: “what colour is it?”

d)         Tt: “Today, Amy is drawing and writing. Is she preparing a surprise for Ms Smart? Let’s have look. Open your book.”

The first, listen point and find “-ing”.

The second, answer the question, repeat the tape.

Questions:

Is she preparing a surprise for Ms Smart?

e)        Read the whole dialogue. Read after the tape. I will pause the tape after each sentence.

f)          1.read the dialog in roles.

    Teacher-students

Teacher-students: divide the class into 2 groups. Taking in a role in the story: Amy, Ms Smart

 

 

放手引导学生看图说话，教师将可能出现的问题预见，引导学生说明原因，此时注意照顾不同层面的学生：好学生先说，确定答案后，学困生重复，加深印象。

 

IV. Practise

1.Listen and repeat.

Play the cassette again and ask pupils repeat. Repeat several times until pupils can read the sentences fluently .

 

2.Let’s relax. Listen to the poem. Tt: “ Do you like it? Listen again. Listen and point. Then repeat. Ss stand up. In according to the poem, do homologous actions.

 

3.Play the cassette again. Encourage the children to clap the rhythm.

4.Now encourage the children to say along with the cassette a number of times while performing the actions.

 

V. Let’s competition.

In row. The 2 students of each row come to the front. The one mimes (for example doing his homework). The other Ss guess: “ Are you doing his homework?”  The first one: “ yes, I’m.”  Each group 3times.

The students sum up the knowledge they have learnt today:
