    Module 7 Unit 1 Did you break your toy?
1.知识与能力目标:
    (1)学生能够听、说、认读单词: cry, break, monster, fall, scar 能听、说、认读句子:Did you fall? No, I didn’t. Did you see a scary thing? Yes, I did.
    (2)学生能够正确流利地朗读、理解课文。
    (3)学生能够运用Did you…? Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t. 来询问和回答过去是否发生过某事。
2.  情感态度目标:
    (1)通过角色扮演、小组合作等活动激发学生的学习兴趣,培养自信、合作意识,体验学习的快乐。
    (2)引导学生能够在别人遇到特殊情况时主动发问,并学会如何安慰别人。
3. 教学重难点:   一般过去时态中,一般疑问句的正确运用。
课前准备:课件,教师用书,课堂活动用书,单词卡,游戏卡,粘贴,头饰
教学过程:
一.Warm Up.
    1. Say the chants.
    2. Free talk between teacher and students :Talk about the things Ss did yesterday.
    3. Lead-in:
    T: You did many things yesterday. Did you read books?  S1: Yes.
    T: Did you go to the park?  S2: No.
    Show the key structure: (Write on the board)Did you…?
    Yes, I did.
    No, I didn’t
    (通过儿歌激活学生关于一般过去时态的记忆,通过自由谈话自然地引入新课的学习。)
 
二.Presentation and Practice
    1.Show the picture of the text. Talk about it. Question 1: What is Tom doing? Learn the new word: cry .
    2. Question 2: Why is Tom crying? Watch, listen and find the answer. Learn the words: monster , scary, a scary thing.
    通过讨论课文情境图引出文本,在语境中进行生词的学习和理解。
 
    3. Question 3: What did Ms. Smart, Amy and Sam ask? Read and underline the key sentences. Then check the answers.
    引导学生通过阅读解决具体问题,加深对文本的理解。通过角色扮演,培养兴趣、主动参与和合作意识。引导学生自由表达,渗透情感。
    4. Read the dialog in group. Show the dialog in roles.
    5. Do the practice in Activity Book.
三.Consolidation and Extension
    1. Play a guessing game and make a dialog.
    2. Play another guessing game in group.
    3. Read a passage about the teacher and circle the right answers.
    T: You can also ask: Did he/she…? Yes, she/he did. No, she/he didn’t.
    4. Ask, answer, tick and write.
    通过自编对话、小组活动、读和写的任务,培养学生发散思维与知识迁移能力,训练学生综合运用语言的能力。
四.Summary
    T: What did we learn today?
    We learnt how to comfort others. These sentences are useful. And we learnt how to ask what others did in the past time.
五.Homework
    1.  Listen, repeat and try to act the text.
    2.  Try to say something about your last weekend.
