Ⅰ. Warm up
1.Greetings:
Good morning/afternoon boys and girls .
Nice to see you again .
How are you?
Would you like to talk about your winter vacations?
Then give Ss several minutes to talk about it. And I will praise the boys or girls that they give us a good speech in English.
2. Warmer:
Sing a song that they have leant last term.
Game: I say you do.
T: sing a song,  write,  talk,  dance,
get up,  go to bed …etc.
 
将新授课涉及到的动词词组以TPR的形式复习,为新授铺垫。
II. Presentation
1 (CAI) T: What does Daming do ?
---- He visits a factory.

2 Read the dialog and fill in the blanks.
What does this machine do ?
1)      It washes the potatoes.
2)      This machine cuts the potatoes.
3)      This machine puts the crisps in their bags.
3 T: As the leader of the factory , what does he suggest?
CAI: S1-Sn: Don’t touch the machines.
           Wear these glasses, please! And don’t touch anything.
Wash your hands! You can all have a bag of crisps.
 
本部分将解决本课的重点知识:特定场合准许与不准许的指令,同样,以自读找答案的方式,培养学生独立理解对话,找准重要信息的能力。
 
III. Practise

从学生现有认知水平出发,导出各种场合适用的指令,既有课本中的,也有生活中的,学生根据自己的能力水平记忆。
2 (CAI) A contest between groups: Watch and say.
1) Watch the symbols and say some sentences individually.
2) Some questions given:
e.g. What have you remembered?

   the fifth picture……
3 A game : One does the action , and the others guess the sentences.
 
采取竞赛、游戏等学生喜爱的方式巩固重点知识。

1. What have we learnt this class?

本课时重点巩固第三人称单数问题,除了将对话中涉及到的此类知识继续巩固外,引导学生描述图片,自己设计机器,发挥想象,介绍自创机器的功用,既培养了学生的创造意识,又巩固了知识。

II. Presentation
Activity 1. Listen and repeat .
1) Have the students close their books.
Now explain that you are going to say one word from an instruction in the book.
They have to listen carefully and say the complete instruction.
E.g. T: Ducks.  Ss: Don’t feed ducks.
    T: Hat!    Ss: Wear your hat!
    T: Books!   Ss: Don’t write in the books!
2)Do the game in pairs.
Ask the Ss to practice last game in pairs.
Then ask them to come to the front to speak out it.
3) Now play the cassette and ask children to listen carefully.
4)Repeat. This time pause for children to repeat the sentences  a number of times and repeat the sentences.
III. Practise
Listen and point.
1) Have the Ss work in pairs or small groups.
 Get them to make up some signs for home.
But there must not be any writing on the signs.
2)Now have the students give their pictures to another group.
That group has to work out the meanings.
3)Play the cassette and ask the Ss to listen and point the correct picture.
4)Play the cassette again and ask pupils repeat. Repeat several times until pupils can read the sentences fluently .

1)Play the cassette. The children listen to the song.
 
2)Play the cassette again. Encourage the children to clap the rhythm.
3)Now encourage the children to sing along with the cassette a number of times while performing the actions.
