1.     ΔSs be able to read and remember the new word “stone” and base sentences such as “What will we see there? We’ll see lots of very big stones. How will we get there? By car. It will take three hours” with four skills.
2.     ΔSs be able to listen, speak, read and understand the new words “Stonehenge, circle, build, mystery, solve, hope” fluently.
3.     ΔSs be able to understand the dialog correctly, read it fluently and act it out in parts.
4.     Ss learn to use the simple future tense with “will” such as “What will…do? How will … get there? …” to talk about one’s traveling plan.
5.     To raise Ss’ researching spirits and the sense of cooperating with others to solve problems.

Top-down model. First look at the pictures and predict the content of the dialog. Then create the proper scenes to elicit the text and the new words. Help Ss understand them correctly and use them properly. Stimulate the Ss’ interests and help them understand the whole dialog by the help of the pictures, cartoons of the text and the courseware.

一、    Warm-up:
Watch the video and sing the song of Will you phone me together.
二、    Revision:
1. Answer questions according to the song. What will the girl see at the park/zoo?
2. Free talk. T-S Where are you going on Saturday? What will you see? …
三、    Presentation and drills:
1. Show some pictures and ask: What will we see in England? (Big Ben, London Bridge, London Eye) Then elicit: place, Stonehenge, mystery
2. Prediction. T (plays the CAI): Look at the picture! Who are the girls? Guess: What are Amy and Lingling talking about?
3. Watch the video and then choose the correct answers according to the text. (1) Where will Amy and Lingling go?
(2) When will they go there?
(3) How will they get there?
4.     Ss read the text in individual with the following questions.
Questions: (1) What is Stonehenge?
 (2) How old is Stonehenge?
 (3) What will Amy and Lingling see there?
 (4) Why did people build it?
5. Show the picture of Stonehenge and talk about it.
Hints: a very old place, five thousands years old, big stones, in a circle, on top of, mystery
Explain the new words and expressions while answering the questions.
6.     Open the Activity Books. Turn to page22. Ex. 1 Listen and answer the questions.
7.     Check the answers.
四、    Practice:
1. Books open to page 22. Ss listen, repeat and underline “will”.
2. Ss read the text in individual.
3. Group work. Read the text in parts.
五、    Consolidation and Extension:
1. P23. Practise. What will Lingling and Amy do on Saturday?
2. Group show. Talk about some pictures. Where will you go? What will you see there? How will you get there?
3. Write your trip plan.
Hints: Where will you go? Where is it? What can you see there? How will you get there? How long will it take? Who will go with you?
