一、教学目标与要求:

1. Students are able to listen, repeat and understand the dialog.

2. Students are able to understand and use these sentence patterns to state one thing.

Yesterday,…          After that, …              Then…

3. Students are able to talk about feelings.

4. Students are able to improve their imaginations.

二、课前准备:Computer, courseware, word cards

三、教学步骤:

Step 1 Warm up

1. Sing an English song with the actions.If you are happy!

2. Act the dialogue M9 U1.

3. Review some words about feelings: happy/sad/angry/bored/hungry/thirsty/tired

Step 2 Presentation

1. Jigsaw reading.  T: How do you get it?

2. Careful reading:

Read part one, answer the questions: Why was Zara sad? What did she do yesterday?

(Ss get some reading rules.)

Read part two, think about the sentences. (True or False)

A: She bought the cake with Mum.       B: She drank some water.

Let’s imagine: What happened then? After that, read part three.

Step 3 Consolidation and Practice:

1. Listen and repeat.                     2. Read in pair or in group.

3. Finish the exercise 5 on P35.            4. Look and say: Describe these four pictures.

Step 4 Sum up用好这些连接词,可以把一件事情描述得更有条理。

Step 5 Extension
