Module6 Unit 1 Let’s play football.
I. Teaching Aims:
1.Students are interested in learning English.
2. Students are able to read and retell the dialogue.
3. Students can use the key structures: Let’s play football. Let’s go
   swimming.

 IV. Teaching Procedure
Step1.     Warm up
1.     Say a chant: Zoo.
2.     TPR: Listen and do.
       (让学生来发指令)
Step2.  Presentation
1.     Review the words.
  (1) Tell the students that you are going to mime some sports. Do a mime
for football and then say the word‘football’.Get the students to repeat
it. Follow the same procedure for ‘basketball’‘swimming’‘ping-pang’
‘hot’.
  (2) Show the word cards to read them..
     (可采用多种形式: 齐读, 分组读, 开火车读, 领读等)
2. Review the dialogue.
(1) T: Last class, we have known Daming and Sam are playing some
    sports. Do you remember what sports do they play?
    Ss: Football, basketball, swimming.
    T: Do they play ping-pang?
    Ss: No.
    T: Why?
    Ss: Daming is hot.
    T: Great! Now, let’s listen to the tape again.
       (让学生再整体感知一遍课文.)
(2) T: This time, please open your book. Listen, point and repeat the
      dialogue.
    (学生打开书, 跟读录音,模仿发音,教师予以纠正.)
 (3) Read the dialogue together.
    (齐读,分组读,分角色读等)
    Encourage the students to retell the dialogue.
3. Students Book P27 Activity 2.
 (1) 通过课件呈现活动2的第一幅图: 踢足球.
    T: Do they play ping-pang?
    Ss: No.
    T: Do they go swimming?
    Ss: No.
    T: What sport do they play?
    Ss: Football.
    T: Yes.They are playing football. Can you invite your friends to play
       football? Practise with your partners.
       Then let some pairs to act it out.
  (2) Follow the same procedure for the second picture.
  (3) Open the book, turn to page 27. Listen, point and repeat.
  (4) Read these sentences together.
Step3 Practice and extension
1. Students Book P27 Activity 3.
  (课件分别呈现: 打篮球, 踢足球, 打乒乓球, 游泳)
  T: Look, I have some pictures of sports. Can you invite your friends
     to take part in?
    (让学生用key structures来邀请朋友参加某项运动,他可以在全班随便找.)
2. Do Activity   Book P27 Activity 3. Listen, look and match.
  After listening, ask the students to say all the sports out.
3. 情感教育: 培养学生合理安排自己的运动与生活的能力,并乐于同他人交流。
4. Play a game: 我表演,你猜.
  (让两个学生到前面,一个背对大家,另一个来表演动作,让那个学生猜.)
Step4.   Summary and homework
1.     Sum up: What have we learned today?
2.     Homework
1) Listen, point, read and imitate the text.
2) Practice Activity 2 with your friends.
