Check the answers by asking several students to read their completed articles.

I live in a big city. Our school is in the central area. At our school, most students take bus or subway to school. Some ride their bikes to school. Others go to school in their parent’s car. A small number of students walk to school.

Step III Survey (Section B: 4)

T: Great! Now walk around the classroom and ask classmates questions and finish the chart. The first students to fill in all the blanks wins!

Give students about 10 minutes to finish the survey. Move around and check their work.

Step IV Role play (Self check 2)

Get students work in pairs and complete the conversation on page 24. Then ask several pairs to act it out before the whole class.
