  Unit 1   (The First Period)

1．Warm-up:

On the board, write some regular and irregular verbs in their present tense form, e.g. listen , play, rum, do, help, jump, go, watch, open, point.

Presentation:

2．listen and say.

Extension activity 1: put this table in the board.

 Remind the students that we an add ‘ed’ or ‘d’ to regular verbs to make the past simple form.

Now have the students think of verbs they know and

write their suggestions on the board. Try to get the students to tell you whether the verbs are regular. Or irregular.

3． Teacher introduce Halloween in Chinese.

4．watch TV, listen and repeat.

One day, Ben didn’t go to school. He went to a park. There was a small lake in the park. Ben was bored. He jumped into the lake and shouted, ”help, help!”. A man heard this, he ran to Ben and jumped into the lake, too. But Ben laughed. The man was all wet. And he was very angry. He said, “don’t tell lies. It’s not funny!” Ben said:”sorry, I won’t do this again..”
