能力目标：
1． 全体学生能熟练运用句型：
Was he a professor/ scientist/founder of Microsoft?
Yes he was/No, he wasn’t.
Where was he born? He was born in +地点
What was he like? He was well-behaved/nice/friendly
2. 90%学生能运用所学句型谈论教师提供的有关名人的新图片；
3. 80%的学生能根据所提供的材料理解文章大意，并能答对题目。
4. 70%的学生能就教师提供的名人图片与材料写成小短文。
教案
Step 1.Presentation
展示Stephen Hawking的图片，输入下列对话：
Was Stephen Hawking a professor?
Yes , he was.
Where was he born? He was born in England.
What was he like? He was well-behaved.
展示Yuan Longping 的图片，图片下面提供 Chinese Scientist, China, friendly学生 work in pairs , 然后教师让四五组作展示表演。
展示Bill Gates的图片，图片下面提供 founder of Microsoft, America, nice 词汇信息，让学生两人小组问答，找5组学习基础偏弱的学生展示。
通过三组的训练，我相信全体学生能够掌握Was Stephen Hawking a…? Where was he born? What was he like? 毕竟青岛市的小学生们已经学了六年的英语。
Step 2 Practice
教师提供大量图片 Mark Twin, Beckham, Dong Yaping, Xu Beihong, Lun Xun ， Edison 和相应的文字信息让学生反复操练目标句型。

Deng Yaping was born on the 2nd of June, 1973. She was hard-working and confident(自信的). She started playing table tennis in 1978 when she was only five years old, she joined the Henan table tennis team. Five years later she joined the national table tennis team. From 1993 to 1998 she kept being the number first women’s singles player in ITTF.
In 1997, she left the team, and went to Tsinghua University to study English and management.
