[设计意图]:
根据小学英语新课程标准,基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。
本课从生活入手,让学生猜一猜盒子里是哪种常见的小动物,激发学生的兴趣;把练习放在了有趣的游戏中,让学生在玩中学,在玩中用,起到激发学习兴趣的作用,同时也调动了学生的积极性,提高了学习效率,使学生更好、更有效地掌握本课的重点难点知识;创设去公园游玩的生活情景,学生在情境中通过小组合作等形式充分练习,培养综合语言运用能力;注重学生指读、大声回答问题等习惯的培养。
[教学目标]:
1 学生能够听、说、认读: fox, kite, monster with pictures.
2 学生能够听、说:Help! Look!
3 学生能够在图片的帮助下听、说、认读:

[视野]:
伦敦的狐狸:伦敦到处都能看到狐狸。在第一次世界大战期间,人们开始修筑外城,扩大城市。在新建的房子里,狐狸发现可以更容易地捕捉到老鼠和吃到人们剩下的食物,而且城市建筑为它们提供了安全的隐藏之地,所以狐狸们就这样进城了。
狐狸总是夜间出来觅食。它们不是很怕人,甚至敢于和人接近,只相差几米的距离。多数的英国人喜欢狐狸,因为狐狸吃老鼠而且大都不伤害家禽(即使它们的确喜欢兔子、几内亚猪和鸡),也吃水果]虫子和人们为他们留下的食物,它们甚至还吃种子。它们偶尔和老鼠打起架来,但从不传染疾病给其他动物。
没有人知道到底有多少只狐狸生活在伦敦。尽管有许多狐狸死于车轮下,但是估计近50年的狐狸总数还没有多大变化。只是它们变得更温顺,因此人们也更容易看到它们了。
